If you have been suffering through life with pain then you are not alone. I have suffered due to chronic back pain for many years. Most people that have dealt with pain for long periods of time knows how it can make you just want to give up hope. There are some great tips for you to try when you get to this point and I am going to give them to you.
I felt so alone for a long time in my life. No one understood my pain not even the family that loved me so I felt that I could not talk to them about it. I felt as though it would be me and the pain forever. It is easy to let depression overcome you when you are in pain for weeks, months, or years. Don't let it get you down.
A therapist can help so make an appointment. Everyone needs someone they can talk to and psychiatrist make a living doing just that. A therapist is great at listening and even talking. Depression is not only brought on by the pain but can be caused by the sleepless nights caused by your pain.
Your mind and body start to feel the effects of the nights you do not sleep. This is also something a therapist can help you with. If I had a hard time doing something it would make me even more upset than I already was especially when it was something that I needed to do in the house or around it. There was one time when I needed to put the hoover wet dry vacuum in the garage shed and I could not because of the pain.
The pain was just too overwhelming and I just sat and cried. That was the finally straw for me and I started seeing a psychiatrist the next day. She has helped me tremendously. Mentally I started to feel better but the pain was still there. That is when I tried vegetarian glucosamine. This is a supplement that is very safe, it has glucosamine in it that helps to repair cartilage. I don't know if it will even help but I am willing to try anything as I am sure you are too.
I will keep taking it though because I only just started it. You have to do something to help yourself if you are in pain and that is the point I am trying to make. You can't just feel sorry for yourself because that is letting your pain win. You are strong so fight back.
If you are depressed then see a therapist, if you are hurting then take supplements to help. Do not let this problem beat you because if I can fight back so can you. Do everything in your power to not let this problem beat you down. Fight back anyway you can.

For many disorders, bipolar disorder included, there is not just one but many drug treatments available. But one of the most popular drugs being prescribed for the disease today is lithium.
Lithium is commonly known as the first mood stabilizer. Although it was discovered in 1817, it was not until much later in the century that it was found to have mood stabilizing properties, specifically anti-manic capabilities. By 1969 it was the preferred method of treating manic depression.
As is true with many drugs, it is not known precisely how lithium affects the brain in order to alleviate the symptoms of manic depression. It's theorized that those afflicted with bipolar 1 disorder have a chemical imbalance in the part of the brain that controls emotions and that lithium helps to restore the correct balance.
Recently, because of its toxicity and other negative effects, some medical professionals have begun to shy away from prescribing lithium.
Of the top drugs used to fight bipolar disease, all seem to be relatively equal in treating bipolar mania. However, when it comes to treating bipolar depression and in reducing feelings of suicide, lithium appears to have the clear edge.
Regrettably, a lot of of the research that current bipolar treatment is based on are 15 or more years old and are very much out of date.
Thankfully, the researchers and scientists having recognized this, are have become much more interested in studying newer medical procedures for bipolar mania. There are a number of medical trials ongoing that will test the potential for a new class of bipolar drugs and hopefully lead to much needed help for families dealing with this emotional wrenching disease.
